It is driven by many factors like the permanently ongoing technological progress. For example the developement of new means of communication which enable fast and easy communication, as well as interconnection world-wide. Businesses, coorperations and organizations I have less trouble to expand all around the world and become multi-national companies or collaborate with international businisses. Depending on the place, this can either result in more tolerance and acceptance towards differences or increased racism. Nevertheless, cultural diversities are being diminished through the westernization. Another rather contradictory effect is the use of English as a gobal language. On one hand, it is beneficial to have some kind of universal laguage as it enables communication with almost but everyone world wide on the other hand, it weakens national languages. " Globalization also finds its significance on a political level. Countries have developed an interdependence by constructing partnerships like the EU or peacekeeping forces such as the UN or NATO. Moreover, transnational problems e.g. COVID 19, climate change, terrorism etc. can be discussed and solved more easily since the international connection enables uninterrupted communication wich allows politicians to create collective and targeted solutions for global issues or international conflicts.
