(the story is set in...). characters (relationships, development). plot (rising action, climax, falling action) narrative perspective: & effect on the reader. first person: the story is told by one character third person limited: thoughts and feelings of one character third person. omniscient: the narrator knows all feelings... of all characters atmosphere (adjectives that describe action, atmosphere).
