Chapter eight This chapter ingudes a lot more about the wave it has shown how Mr ROSS' Students have learnt to obey the rules and where tolerant of others. Laurie and David wall to school together as usual the next morning and talked about the wave. Then they discuss about the objection of Laurie's mother that Ben is manipulating his students. In class, every student receives a membership card and some of them are marked with a red x on the backside, which means that the person is a monitor and has to report the others if they don't obey their rules. At lunch all sit together, even Robert, and talked about their new unity.
