Firas is a demonstrator for Human Rights and Freedom. After he made some Posts on Facebook, her friend warned him to stop. But instead, he demonstrated on the streets and yelled something like: one one one the Syria nation is one in a megaphone. He took part in every demonstration in Damascus and therefore he was arrested. He describes this in his book with humour. He wrote about daily routine which were new for him. In addition, he wrote about cultural shock situations which he experienced during carnival. Alcohol and different outfits were a big adjustment for him. It was extraordinary, for a person from another culture and country to have an experience like carnival, water with gas or that you need to borrow a shopping trolley for 1 €.
