Es gibt sehr viel über Nigeria zu erzählen. Dementsprechend kann ich auch nicht alles aufnehmen , aber ich hab hier in meinem Referat einige wichtige Punkte integriiert , die dem einen hoffentlich weiterhelfen :)

Nigerian Dreams and Nightmares ▶Problems and nightmares Vicious circle Role of women and girls American Dream vs. Nigerian Dream ➤Is there any hope? ● Structure ● Problems and Nightmares Corruption : most successful economy of Africa, because of the oil industry, but the money isn't invested; trafficking in babies, cooperation with the police for money, police brutality ➤Unemployment : Especially in time of corona, half of the population lives in poverty ➤ Education : Many Children don't go to school, teachers often expect money for good marks ➤Over population (190 Billions) Pollution : As a consequence of oil production (Millions of oil barrels leak) - >Ground, air and water full of dirtiness, Sea animals die/ Life expectancy of 40 Nobody really wants to support Nigeria: Has got many huge problems ->Needs a lot of engagement and money to solve them Vicious circle Problems getting bigger Role of women and girls ➤Patriarchal society: limited access to health services, education, few economic opportunities ➤Daily exposed to violent and danger forced marriage at early ages Boko Haram : A well-known terrorist group - > girls between 15-18 are kidnapped, enslaved and sexually abused as well as forced to convert to Islam Constantly fear, even on the way to school
