Martin Luther King the man who dreamed and fought for a world where every person has the same rights regardless of skin-colour, race and religion I have a dream ... content of my presentation & biography ❖ “I have a dream" speech * his "dream" in today's world biography - born as Michael King Jr on January 15th 1929 in Atlanta; USA lived with his parents, sisters and brothers parents: Martin Luther King Senior, Alberta Wiliams King father of four children - - - civil rights activist - had his first experience of segregation with only six years he was assassinated on April 4th 1968 in Tennessee - "I have a dream" * speech on 28th August 1963, at the March on Washington * before a crowd of 250,000 people remains as one of the most famous speeches in history * he shares his vision for a more equal society reiterates his belief that such a future is attainable „I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
