Argumentative wri writing Students often ask wether they should spend a year in Australia or not. Today, I'll talk about the positive and negative aspects. One of the main reasons why people think a gap year isn't good is that it's expensive: I definetely agree with that but there are scolarships which give money to those who need it. A scolarship is often about writing a text or having Some dutys but that's still a really good chanche to do a gap year without spending thousands of dollars. Another good argument is that you leave your friends and family behind but we're living in the 21th century. you can facetime them for example. And even if you're still homesick theres your host family and your new friends. The time difference between Germany and Australia amounts a hours so when you're going to school you can call your family which are going to bed. Being an exchange student may sound scary at first but after a time you will improofe your english skills and be a part of the aussi - live style. By gaining experience you'll improve your self confedince and learn to be independent. A gap year in Australia would also be a great opportunity to learn about the different Animals, for example kangaroos or poisoned animals....

Many of them doesn't even exist in Germany. A gap year in Australia is a great possbility to gain experience and find new friends, you're improofing your english and you're learning about the australian culture and animals. There're positive as well as negative arguments but in my opinion, the positive side stands out, as the points definitely more than offset the negative..
